Wake County is seeking a Business Technology Transformation Manager to lead key practices driving organizational change, including change management, relationship management, process improvement and innovation, communities of practice and user-centered design and testing.
In this role, you’ll shape how
employees and residents experience technology across Wake County.
This position offers a hybrid
schedule, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and develop the Business Technology Transformation team
- Lead business transformation and user-centered design activities associated with major projects, ensuring the organization is prepared to successfully adopt new ways of working
- Build and support communities of practice around high priority and emerging technologies
- Lead partnerships and collaborations with departments on business process improvement efforts prior to technology deployment
- Manage relationships between the team, IT leadership, County departments and the Management Office to identify business needs early, guide direction and translate them into the necessary pre-work so that the technology delivers positive outcomes
NOTE: This is an 80% hybrid role that requires working onsite at the Raleigh, NC office, with the ability to be onsite within one hour.
