As a Security Officer Corporate Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation, people first service, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access control, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verifying access permissions and reporting suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or potential hazards through proper channels.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards throughout each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
