As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post for candidates who meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, gates, and/or reception areas, document visitor and delivery activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive observation and consistent application of post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns, and supporting site policies throughout the location.
• Assist with traffic and vehicle control at entry points, communicate clearly with drivers and site personnel, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required records related to daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
