Cherokee Preting is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Publicly Available Information (PAI) Intelligence Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the team. The PAI SME will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, interpreting, and disseminating information on various aspects such as political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, or scientific conditions and trends.

Publicly Available Information Intelligence Analyst SME Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze, evaluate, interpret, and disseminate information on political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, or scientific conditions and trends
  • Fuse PAI for multi-intelligence product development, including outlining regional and ideological discussions in specific foreign language media environments
  • Research, develop, and present PAI intelligence products at the tactical and operational levels
  • Research emerging open source and social media applications of social networking, collaborate with industry and academia subject matter experts, and interfaces with other Government agencies to identify new and emerging social network analysis methodologies, techniques and analytical tools
  • Identify and support the collection of open-source data to support multi-intelligence fusion analysis in a collaborative environment

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Publicly Available Information Intelligence Analyst SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing analytical intelligence related operations while serving in an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, National Military Joint Intelligence Center or Combatant Command, or, a non-DoD equivalent IA operational community
  • Minimum of five (5) years of operational analysis experience in their analytical field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a managerial level position in support of special operations, and combat overseas tours with a SMU and or SOF in an operational environment providing a direct analysis support function is highly desired
  • Advanced skillsets with the F3EAD targeting methodology to include broad knowledge of additional intelligence disciplines
  • Experience in their field capable of leading analytical efforts culminating in products

  • Advanced skillsets with the Intelligence Cycle, HVI Targeting, Social Network Analysis, Patterns of Life Analysis and one or more of the following areas: Human Factors Analysis, Human Terrain Analysis, SIGINT Targeting, Convergence Analysis, and Intelligence training
  • Working knowledge and understanding of analytical theory, doctrine, rules, regulations, directives, systems, concepts, methodologies and relevant skills related to intelligence operations
  • Expert knowledge of applying tradecraft, tools, and methods to collect, analysis, and integrate complex information related to targeting
  • Advanced Social Network Analysis experience and an understanding of the latest state-of-the-art Social Network techniques, methodologies and tools in support of multi-INT analysis products
  • Strong understanding of mainstream and global web applications (e.g. Facebook, lnstagram, VKontakte, Sino Weibe, Telegram, etc.)
  • Deployed experience supporting SOF customers is highly desirable
  • Must possess a valid US passport
  • Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
