As a Security Officer - Unarmed Field Patrol in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge activity. You will document observations, use computers and/or tablets for reporting, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, loading dock areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by post orders, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery check-in processes in coordination with site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documentation, and timely notification to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to supervisors and/or site stakeholders, and support security-related investigations as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
