The purpose of this position is to provide purchasing and travel support to multiple departments within the Klein College of Science. Essential Job Duties Create and manage requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices in 49 er. Mart. Request and set up new vendors and office equipment contracts. Assist with and process P-Card purchases for travel and operating expenses. Prepare, review, and submit travel requests, travel expense reports, and reimbursements. Serve as the first point of contact for travel and purchasing assistance. Create and Maintain the College’s Purchasing and Travel Processes and Procedure Manuals. Other Work Responsibilities Provide purchasing and travel guidance and status updates. Serve as liaison to the University Travel and Purchasing Office. Handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly and professionally. Create monthly reports using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/ Education Proficient use of 49 er. Mart, Concur, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Applications Experience in a college/university setting. Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with all individuals. Ability to use independent judgment and interpret established guidelines.
