As a Picker Packer, your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from inventory, pack them securely, and prepare orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse are essential for the success of this role. Key Responsibilities:Picking:Order Retrieval: Accurately pick items from shelves, bins, or designated areas based on order sheets or electronic picking systems. Quality Assurance: Inspect items for damage or defects and verify that the correct items and quantities have been picked. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, report discrepancies, and ensure that stock is organized and easily accessiblePacking:Packaging: Carefully and securely pack items into boxes or containers to prevent damage during transit. Labeling: Apply shipping labels and ensure that all necessary documentation is included in the shipment. Order Assembly: Assemble, organize, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring they are complete and accurate. Warehouse Maintenance:Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking packing materials and keeping workspaces clear of debris. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity goals. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items, sometimes in excess of 30 pounds.
